Each plant is shipped potted and securely packed to the best of our abilities, customers have often called our packing methods “bomb-proof” because they’re so reliable! We also try to use as many recycled and biodegradable packing materials as possible. Our packing peanuts are made from cornstarch and dissolve in water, any bubble wrap is reused, packing paper is FSC Certified and recyclable, and the cups and bags used to seal the plants are reusable and/or recyclable!

Absolutely! Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link to monitor delivery progress on USPS.com. You can also use our tracking page to track your order without leaving our site.

We are sorry your package is delayed, unfortunately in the current environment shipping delays are common. If your plants are taking longer than expected to arrive please check the tracking first, and if you still have questions please reach out via email or click contact us, and include your name and order number.

Nepenthes are Resilient

Nepenthes and the other plants we sell are strong and healthy, a short delay will not affect them at all. We have even had imported Nepenthes lost in international shipping for 30 days arrive perfectly healthy. But do remember we always guarantee Healthy and Safe Arrival, just in case.

We base our shipping prices on the average commercial rate to ship one plant to each of our shipping zones, and since we offer flat shipping if you order more plants the prices we charge are below cost.

If you are looking for a cheaper option we can sometimes offer USPS ground advantage, since this is not a usual shipping method this is by request only and we will need written approval which removes any live arrival guarantees. If you would like to discuss ground shipping please contact us.

Unfortunately no, Nepenthes are endangered and fall under Convention on the International Trade of Endangered Species (CITES) regulations, meaning we cannot ship internationally without expensive permits and licenses that take months to acquire for each shipment. If you are interested in arranging a large order (over $2500), are willing to pay for the required CITES permits, and wait a few months, contact us for more details.
